Sussex Fire Box 81-2. Delmar Engine-Tanker 74-2, Tanker 74-5 and Ladder 74 assisted Laurel with a residential structure fire. In the early morning hours of July 17, Engine 74-1 provided stand-by coverage at Station 71 in Blades while multiple fire departments worked at Sussex Fire Box 87-8, a commercial structure fire at Nylon Shopping Center in Seaford, Delaware. During the stand-by Engine 74-1 responded to two reported vehicle collisions. The first at the intersection of Neals School Road & Boyce Road for a vehicle off the road into a cornfield. No vehicle was located at the scene. The second was for a MVC with entrapment on Stein Highway at R&B Villa. First arriving units found no entrapment.
