Trauma patient fly-out on the Maryland side

July 08, 2026

July 8, 2026, approximately 10:45pm. Traumatic Injury with fly-out. Landing zone was set up near the intersection of S. Maryland Avenue & Foskey Lane. Paramedic B-74’s crew treated the patient on-scene then transported to the landing zone and transferred the patient to Maryland State Police Aviation Trooper 4. Trooper 4 transported the trauma patient to UMD Shock/Trauma. S. Maryland Avenue was closed between W. Walnut Street and Foskey Lane during the incident.
