First due garage fire

October 12, 2018

Delmar, Laurel and Hebron Fire Dept's responded for a reported structure fire on Westerlee Drive near the Old Mill Crab House. Units arrived to find heavy fire from a garage, with exposures to another garage and vehicles. Mardela Springs and Gumboro were added to the alarm. The fire was quickly brought under control. Units on-scene: Delmar Engine-Tanker 74-2, Truck 74-4, Tanker 74-5, Rescue 74-6, Command 74-11, Traffic Control 74-9, Paramedic B-74, Laurel Engine 81-3, Hebron Engine-Tanker 5, Mardela Springs Engine-Tanker 904, Sussex County EMS Medic 102.
