Wednesday, January 3 started off clear and chilly but the evening and overnight was forecast to bring blizzard conditions. Before the snow arrived Delmar Fire Dept kept busy running EMS calls, a mutual-aid house fire in Laurel and a first due flooding with electrical hazard call. Shortly after the snow arrived units responded for a grass fire and then an another EMS call.
Weather conditions are expected to worsen overnight and during the day on Thursday.
