First due structure fire

December 21, 2017

Structure fire on Providence Church Road. At 4:49p on December 21, Delmar, Laurel and Hebron Fire Dept's were alerted for a reported structure fire on Providence Church Road near Susan Beach Road. A large column of black smoke was visible long before units arrived on-scene. Engine-Tanker 74-2 arrived first and found a working barn fire containing trailers and hay bales. Additional units were requested from Sharptown and Mardela Springs.
