MVC, car vs building. After clearing a reported commercial building fire at Wawa, Delmar Fire Dept was alerted for a motor vehicle collision with entrapment. This also brought Rescue 1 from Salisbury and Ladder 5 from Hebron.
Command arrived on-scene and found a single vehicle into an apartment building on E. Chestnut Street. There were multiple injuries. Ambulances from Salisbury and Hebron were added to the incident. Truck 74 and Engine 74-1 extricated a Priority-1 patient from the car who was treated by Ambulance B-74. Rescue 1 and Ladder 5 arrived and assisted with patient and care removal of 2 additional patients who were transported Priority-2. The scene was turned over to Delmar Police and Wicomico Sheriffs for accident reconstruction.
