Fire Box 74-4; Working apartment complex fire in Delmar, on Juliet Lane at Pond's Edge Apartments. Delmar Station 74, Salisbury Stations 2 & 16, Parsonsburg Station 6 on the initial dispatch. 74 Command responded found a 3-story apartment building with smoke showing from Side-C (rear of structure).
Delmar Engine 74-1 and Salisbury Truck 1 arrived simultaneously and went to work. Engine 74-1 stretched a line to the rear of the building where an exterior fire had extended from the 1st floor all the way up to the 3rd floor. Truck 1 laddered the roof.
A 'working fire dispatch' was requested which added Hebron Station 5 for a ladder truck and Laurel Station 81 for an engine to the alarm. No injuries reported.
Units working at the fireground: 74 Command, Engine 74-1, Truck 74-4, Engine 74-3, Paramedic A-74, Salisbury Truck 1, Engine 16, Parsonsburg Engine 605, Hebron Ladder 5 and Laurel Engine 81-3. Gumboro Engine 79-2 provided fire stand-by coverage at Delmar during the incident.
