Two MVC's with roll-over at the same time

January 08, 2022

Delmar Fire Dept was dispatched simultaneously for two Motor Vehicle Collisions with roll-over. One was in Delaware in front of Wawa on Sussex Highway. The second was in Maryland on Adkins Road. All photos are from the Maryland side accident.
 
Engine 74-1, Paramedic B-74 and Sussex County EMS responded to the Delaware side MVC. The Maryland side accident was upgraded to an entrapment. Truck 74-4 and Paramedic A-74 responded to that incident and requested additional units for a rescue assist, which brought Rescue 1 from Salisbury and Ladder 5 from Hebron. Rescue 1 arrived first and performed a door pop. One patient was transported.
