At 05:24 hours Laurel, Delmar, Gumboro and SCEMS were alerted for a chicken house fire on Old Stage Road north of Whitesville Road. Laurel units arrived to find a fully involved chicken house with exposures to propane tanks and another chicken house. Blades Engine-Tanker 71-2 and Sharptown Engine-Tanker 14 were added to the alarm. Engine-Tanker 74-2 responded from Delmar and was assigned to the west end of the structure. Paramedic C-74 responded for EMS stand-by at the scene.
