6:20am, Friday, May 5. Delmar Fire Dept was alerted for a vehicle fire at Food Lion on Sussex Highway. Engine 74-3 responded and found a trash truck with a smoldering load. Firefighters accessed the load via the top of the truck and poured water and foam into the trash compartment. No injuries.
