At approximately 03:00 hours Delmar Fire Department was alerted for an MVC on Jersey Road near Connelly Mill Road. Units arrived to find a single vehicle head-on into a power pole with the pole split in half. The vehicle was surrounded by wires and a transformer came to rest near the driver. The driver was uninjured and remained inside the vehicle until Choptank Electric arrived on-scene to cut the power.
