First due chimney fire

November 02, 2015

Shortly after midnight Wicomico County alerted Stations 74 Delmar, 2 Salisbury and 6 Parsonsburg for a house fire on Stage Road on the Maryland side. 74 Command and Engine-Tanker 74-2 arrived to find a chimney fire. The interior crew from ET 74-2 checked for extension and found fire in the wall. The call was upgraded and additional units from Stations 5 Hebron, 81 Laurel and 79 Gumboro were alerted.

Units On-scene:

Delmar: 74 Command, Engine-Tanker 74-2, Paramedic A-74, Tanker 74-5, Rescue 74-6

Salisbury: Tower 16

Parsonsburg: Engine 605, Tanker 608

Hebron: Engine-Tanker 5

Laurel Engine Co 81-3 provided stand-by coverage at Station 74.
