Vehicle Accident with Entrapment

On April 19, 2025 Sussex EOC alerted Delmar EMS for a person having a medical emergency in a vehicle. Crews arrived on scene with a vehicle in a ditch with a subject trapped. The Rescue assignment was dispatched bringing crews from Delmar and Laurel Fire Departments. Crews removed the roof to extricate the patient. Delmar and Sussex County EMS transported the patient to a local trauma center.
