On Saturday evening, January 4th, Wicomico EOC alerted Station 74 for a structure fire as result of a motor vehicle accident. Engine 74-1 and Truck 74 were assisting the City of Salisbury with a structure fire of their own. Engine Tanker 74-2, Rescue 74, Command 74, and Deputy 74 arrived to find a vehicle accident involving a house, with smoke showing from the vehicle. Due to no involvement of the structure, the box was placed in service. Sussex County Technical Rescue Team was contacted to check the integrity of the structure. State Street in town was closed for over an hour during the incident.
