Hazardous Materials chemical spill in a residence

Haz-Mat Box 74-2. Station 74 Delmar was alerted for a chemical spill inside a residence, with a patient, on the Maryland side. 74 Command, Engine 74-1 and Paramedic B-74 initially responded and confirmed reports of a small, accidental spill located inside the residence. A Haz-Mat team from Salisbury, Haz-Mat 1, Decon 74, Utility 74-8 and Truck 74-4 were added to the alarm. Hazardous Materials Technicians from Delmar and Salisbury operated together for 90 minutes containing and removing the hazard from the residence. One civilian injury was evaluated by Paramedic B-74.
