MVC with entrapment on Rum Ridge Road

Multiple fire departments responded to the intersection of Rum Ridge Road and Melson Road on the Maryland side for a serious motor vehicle collision with entrapment. At the time of this incident Delmar Fire Dept and several other area fire departments were participating in a large fire training drill in Delmar. The first units to rerspond to this incident were Laurel Engine 81-3 and Salisbury Tower 16. Ambulances from Delmar and Salisbury treated 3 patients. Delmar Engine 74-3 also repsonded. One high priority trauma patient was transported by Delmar Paramedic A-74.
