MVC with roll-over on Columbia Road

June 5, 2017. Delmar Fire Dept and Sharptown Fire Dept responded to a vehicle accident on Columbia Road. Paramedic B-74 arrived to find an Acura MDX well off the roadway into the woods. The vehicle rolled multiple times in the woods. Despite extensive damage, both occupants were able to exit the vehicle on their own and walk out to the roadway. A passing off-duty Dorchester County Sheriffs Deputy spotted the occupants and stopped to help them. 2 patients were transported to the hospital.
