Shortly after midnight on Thursday May 12, stations 81, 74 and 14 were alerted for a house fire on S. Central Avenue in Laurel, Delaware. Units arrived to find a working house fire. Delmar Engine 74-3 responded and pulled a second attack line. During the interior attack, the structure experienced a roof collapse in the garage area and evacuation tones were sounded. Operations went into a defensive mode at that point. After the fire was knocked crews performed extensive overhaul. Delmar units cleared the scene at approximately 2am. There were no injuries during the incident.
