Commercial building fire in Delmar

At approximately 1:30am on Wednesday March 2, Delmar, Laurel & Gumboro were alerted for a building fire on Brittingham Road. Units arrived to find heavy fire involving a structure, a recreational vehicle and propane tanks. A tanker task force was alerted bringing multiple additional fire departments from around Sussex and Wicomico Counties to the scene or to cover up at other fire stations.

Other fire departments alerted for this incident were Parsonsburg, Pittsville, Blades, Millsboro, Seaford, Georgetown, Hebron, Sharptown, Bridgeville, Greenwood, Salisbury, Willards and Powellville.
