Full Moon Brings Rare MVC

On August 1st, 2015, Delmar Fire Department was alerted for an MVC on Whitesville Road.  Command 74 responded with 74-19 (A. Abbott) and arrived to find a SUV into the rear of a Sprayer which was being pulled by a Farm Tractor.  A-74 arrived and evaluated two priority 3 patients.  One patient was transported to a local Trauma Center while the other refused transport at the scene.  Engine 74-3 arrived and contained a large spill from the SUV.  Both the SUV and Sprayer were a total loss.  All 74 units were in service in approximately 40 minutes.
