MVC with vehicle fire on Foskey Lane

Accident with car fire
On July 18, 2024, Wicomico EOC alerted Station 74 for an accident with injuries in the area of Ocean Highway and Foskey Lane. Units arrived on scene to find a car that rear ended a tractor trailer and caught fire. One patient in the vehicle was out prior to fire department arrival. The tractor trailer driver was able to pull away from the car to avoid extension to the trailer. Crews from 74-1 and Rescue 74 made quick work of the car fire. Paramedic 74 transported one patient to a local trauma center.
